MATCH-TIME HELP

Get Help While the Match Runs

Problems tend to surface mid-over, when the number you were watching stops moving. Our desk handles score queries separately from wallet queries, so tell us the match, the over and what your card shows. The strip loads lighter than the full scorecard, which matters when you're following a match in Chattogram on a thin signal. If the fault is on our side we say so; if it is your connection we tell you that too. Straight answers, no canned lines.

Score sitting on the same number If a strip sits on one number, pull it down once to force a refresh. If it stays frozen, message our Bangladesh support desk and we'll say whether the feed or your connection is at fault.
Scorecard slow on mobile data The full card is heavier than the strip, so open it before the over begins on a weak signal. Switching to Wi-Fi or reloading the tab brings the batting and bowling tables back in full.
Match missing from the board Domestic and age-group fixtures only appear once the organiser's feed goes live. Send us the series name and the date and support will confirm whether that match is on our list.

Open the Ball Log Inside cxlogin

Every card on the board carries the same three layers: a score strip up front, an over-by-over log in the middle, and a full scorecard underneath with batting, bowling and fall of wickets. We pull the numbers from the match feed rather than typing them in, so the figure changes on the ball, not on a schedule. Between overs you can check

the required rate, the current partnership and who is still to bat. If a feed drops mid-innings the strip shows a reconnecting flag instead of freezing on an old number. Each score is labelled live or delayed before you read it.

HOW WE CHECK

See How We Keep Scores Straight

A scoreboard is only worth reading if you can tell how old the number is. Every card we publish carries a timestamp in Dhaka time and a label that says whether the feed is live or running behind. When a match feed stops, the card says reconnecting rather than settling on the last figure. Corrections arrive the same way — you send the match, the over and the figure, we check it against the feed and fix the card.

Feed first, no guesswork

Runs, wickets and overs come from the live match feed, not from someone watching a stream and typing. When the feed pauses, the card says so instead of showing a number we guessed.

Dhaka time on every card

Each card prints the last update in Dhaka time. A glance tells you whether the figure in front of you is seconds old or sitting there stale.

Delays are flagged, not hidden

When a feed reaches us late, the card carries a delayed label before you read the score, so you are never guessing whether the board is behind the ground.

Corrections we will take

Spotted a wrong wicket or a swapped batter? Send the match, the over and the figure to support. We check it against the feed and put the card right.

Learn the Words on the Scorecard

Cricket commentary assumes you already know the shorthand. If a card says 8.4 overs, required rate 6.2 or DLS par 145, you should be able to read it at a glance without leaving the match. The definitions below cover the words that show up on our strips and scorecards, written the way we'd explain them at the desk. Read them once and the whole card opens up.

What does run rate mean in live cricket scores?

Run rate is the average runs a batting side scores per over, worked out as total runs divided by overs faced. On our score strip it moves after every ball.

What is the required run rate?

The required run rate is how many runs per over the chasing side still needs in order to win. Our card recalculates it after each ball and each wicket.

What is a powerplay?

A powerplay is the opening stretch of an innings when fielding restrictions apply, so fewer fielders sit outside the circle. Limited-overs matches show its overs on the score strip.

What does DLS mean on a scorecard?

DLS stands for Duckworth-Lewis-Stern, the method that sets a revised target when rain cuts an innings short. The card shows the par score so you can follow the chase.

What is fall of wickets?

Fall of wickets lists the score at which each batter was dismissed, in order, with the over it happened. It sits in the scorecard directly under the batting table.

What is a maiden over?

A maiden over is an over in which the bowler concedes no runs. Extras like wides and no-balls break a maiden, which is why the over log marks them separately.

Clear Your Doubts Before the Toss

Most of what people ask us about the board comes down to freshness, access and what a number means. The answers below are the ones our support desk gives across the counter every match day, from why a card lags during a rain break to whether you need to stake anything to read a score. If your question is not here, send it to support with the match name and we will answer it directly.

The strip changes on the ball rather than on a timer, because we read the match feed directly. Latency depends on the feed the match organiser supplies and your own connection.

No. The board sits inside your account and you can read every card without staking anything. Matches we carry in our cricket sportsbook are marked on the same card.

Yes. Domestic BPL fixtures and international series sit on the same board, sorted by start time in Dhaka. Use the filter tabs to keep only the formats you actually follow.

A feed can lag on a slow connection, or during a rain break when scoring pauses. The timestamp tells you how fresh the number is, and the reconnecting flag appears when the feed drops.

The strip alone gives you runs, wickets, overs and the required rate. Open the full card only when you want the batting and bowling tables or the fall of wickets.

Send the match, the over and the figure you think is off to our Bangladesh support desk. We compare it against the feed, correct the card and reply on the same channel.
